AVIONICS
Avionics parts are electronic systems and components installed in aircraft for communications, navigation, display, and control. The parts involve many instruments, sensors, computers, and software, without which the fundamental operation and functionality of the modern aircraft would not be possible. The systems are designed to make flying safe and efficient by providing very accurate navigation, communication with air traffic control, and information concerning the weather, engine monitoring, and other critical functions that may arise during a flight. Examples of avionics parts are flight management systems, radar systems, GPS receivers, autopilot systems, communications equipment, and cockpit displays.
